Meet Our Keynote Speaker
Brian Jones
As a lifelong geologist with degrees from Stanford University and the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, he tracked copper and gold deposits into some of the most remote corners of North and South America.

He has written numerous scientific articles and oped pieces. Brian serves on the Board of Directors of the Alta Historical Society and is a past President.
We have the pleasure of hearing Brian speak about the magic of Little Cottonwood Canyon. His slide show will describe the geologic characteristics of Little Cottonwood Canyon that make it one of the most remarkable places in the world.
